Wine Corks Table Numbers
Wine corks are a great way to add color and interest to your tables. One of my favorite ways to use them is as table numbers (see above). Simply place the number on top of a wine cork and then write the guest’s name on a scrap piece of paper. Tie twine around the base of each one, or glue it down if you’re feeling extra fancy. You can also create escort cards out of wine corks by attaching them with twine or using double-sided tape in between two pieces of cardstock and then adding your text in calligraphy (or just handwritten).
Wine Corks Escort Cards With Twine
If you’re looking for a fun and unique way to display your escort cards at the reception, consider tying them to wine corks and stringing them on twine. You can use different colored twines for each table so that guests can easily find their seats, or have one color that matches your wedding decor.
Before you begin, make sure your paper cutter is sharp enough to cut through the twine without tearing it or creating jagged edges. When cutting your escort cards, leave an extra inch of space at both ends of the card so that they’ll fit nicely into the hole punched in each cork. To make these holes (which should be about an inch apart), punch two holes with a standard hole punch tool 5/8″ from either edge of each card. Then insert one end of each piece of twine into its respective hole before attaching it to its desired cork!
Wine Corks Seating Plan
First of all, you’re going to need a seating chart. You can make these yourself with wine corks, or you can order them from Etsy as I did.
Once you’ve got your seating chart in place, use twine to mark out where each guest should sit.
Personalized Wine Corks Place Cards
Personalized wine corks place cards are a classic country wedding idea. If you want to get involved in the process of making these, it’s a great way to get your DIY juices flowing and work with friends or family on something that will be meaningful for years to come.
If you’re not feeling crafty, there are plenty of places where you can buy services like this online (for example: Etsy). But if you do want to make your own, here are some tips:
- Make sure you have enough corks! It might seem like a lot at first, but once you start writing names on them they will go very quickly.
- Use a cork board or cork wall to display your table numbers! This is one of our favorite ways of displaying them because it makes each table unique while keeping things simple and rustic looking at the same time. You could also use twine, ribbon or string to hang them from the ceiling instead of displaying them on walls so long as they’re all close together so guests don’t trip over them while walking into their seats
Wine Corks Centerpiece
Wine corks are a great way to decorate a table, especially if you’re looking for something that’s both natural and eco-friendly. They can be used to make centerpieces in a variety of ways:
- Spiral-bound wine cork trees
- Wine cork bouquets
- Flower arrangements made entirely out of wine corks
You can get creative with whatever materials you have on hand, but we recommend using wine corks wherever possible because they look so pretty when arranged together!
Have a country wedding with some wine corks
Wine corks are a great way to add a rustic touch to your wedding. They’re inexpensive, easy to find, and can be used in many ways. Wine corks can be used for table numbers, escort cards, place cards, centerpieces and seating charts!
Wine cork centerpieces are simple and easy but will add a lot of rustic charm to any wedding venue. You can use two different sizes of wine corks for this project – small ones for the bottom layer and larger ones for the middle layer.
The base should consist of an inch or so of smaller sized corks glued onto a thin piece of wood or corkboard (cut from wine bottle stopper), which is then balanced on top of another piece that holds it off the table slightly (also cut from wine bottle stopper). The second layer begins with more small corks glued onto it before being topped off once again by large corks placed perpendicular instead of parallel like in the first step – this creates an interesting pattern as well as provides extra stability when setting down items made using these bases!
Conclusion
Wine corks are a great way to add some country charm to your wedding day. There are so many different ways you can use them, from table numbers and escort cards, to centerpieces and place cards. Whatever you decide on, we hope this article has inspired you with some ideas!
